Our Mission
To promote the
National Standards of the health care laboratory sciences within the
state. To provide opportunity for increasing technical knowledge of our
members and to support both National and State organizational goals.

Presidents Message
I would like to welcome everyone to our State Society page.
Hope everyone will enjoy our new page and updates that will begin showing this
month. We at Arkansas State Society would like to congratulate all the winner at
the National Convention. We had a great state meeting in Sept. at Children's
Hospital. With a lot of informative information. Our State Society honored
Medical Assistant's week at the Peter O Thomas Bldg., there are 18 MA's working
there. A very special thanks to the physicians for helping us celebrate Medical
Assistant's week. they are Dr. Stephen Snyder, Dr. Chris John, Dr. Genice Perry,
Dr. Meenakski Budraja, Dr. Madhu Budraja, Dr. Michael Carney, Dr. Frakhar Ijaz
and Dr. Muhammad Alam.
Hope to see everyone at our next State Society Meeting in 2009. Watch for your
journals in the mail. Everyone have a nice holiday seasons and continue to
encourage and uphold your certifications with American Medical Technologists.
