Presidents Message

Dear Fellow Arkansas AMT members.
Fall 2007 Message

Here we are going into fall already. It sure was a hot long summer here.  ASSAMT has a membership of 385 health care professionals.  Our state meetings are held in the spring and fall of each year.  We publish our journals in June and December.  We have a dedicated board of directors and a active membership.  We are involved in student membership, state activities, legislative issues that might not protect our members and we provide CEU's for those attending our meetings.  I welcome our comments and suggestions for our meetings.  As a reminder to all members, don't forget about your renewals.  Hope to here from you soon.

Forever AMT,

Norma Owens, RMA, AHI
President

DEAR ARKANSAS AMT MEMBERS,

THE FALL OF THE YEAR IS HAS ARRIVED AND ONCE AGAIN WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL OPPORTUNITIES TO GET CEU’S THROUGH OUT THE YEAR.

AS A DELEGATE TO THE NATIONAL I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF AMT PUT ON A GREAT MEETING FOR THE MEMBERSHIP WITH MANY GREAT PROGRAMS THAT COVERED  MOST OF THE  AMT CERTIFICATIONS.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BIGGEST MEETINGS THAT I HAVE ATTENDED WITH OVER  FIVE HUNDRED AND ONE HUNDRED OR MORE BEING NEW  ATTENDANTS. WE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE OVER 17 CEU’S.

THE STATE MEETING HELD IN LITTLE ROCK IN OCTOBER WAS ALSO A VERY GOOD MEETING.  WE HAD THREE GREAT SPEAKERS THAT CAME FROM CHILDRENS HOSPITAL THANKS TO PAUL BOLDING .

THIS HAS AGAIN BEEN A GREAT YEAR OF MEETINGS AND WE HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU AT FUTURE  MEETINGS SO YOU CAN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET FELLOW MEMBERS AND GAIN KNOWLEDGE AT THE SAME TIME . REMEMBER WE NEED TO FURTHER AND EXPAND OUR KNOWLEDGE EVERY DAY AS WE GROW. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING  YOU AT THE NEXT MEETING.

SINCERELY,
